That screw appeared in my rear tire about 70kms out. So off came the rear wheel, out came the brand new tire levers…
.. and on went the rear wheel again. the tire levers and my skill were no match for the strength of the tire.
KTM (and BECO) actually make a bead breaker for the LC8 rims – looks like a glorified G-clamp. But works. The LC8 rims use some special system which makes the bead pretty concrete-like.
