These comments sound good, but it's all a bit airy fairy pie in the sky type stuff. I don't believe that Paul actually understands his own company.

Let me explain:

10-20 mb to 80% sounds good, but I live in a fairly new sub division in a popular part of town. I'm connected to an active roadside cabinet. This sub division was planned from conception so everyone knew how many houses would be built here. BUT...I can't get internet (apart from dial-up) because there are no free ports in the roadside cabinet. Not all the houses are yet built, how will we all be able to get broadband?

So. We can't get broadband at all through lack of even the simplest planning on the part of Telecom...and yet Paul would have us believe that we're going to get "fast" broadband. Do you believe him? Is he ostriching? Is he being musroomed? Or is it a deliberate deception

BTW, I left Japan 4 years ago and 54M ADSL was commonplace, although I was using 100M fibre to the door...
