Yes I did – and just a few minutes ago. I used 2 cameras: The wide angle ones are with a Sony DSC W300 – which is a 13.6mp point and shoot, and the zoomed ones are using an Sony HDR H1CE video camera using the 3mp camera and a 2x teleconversion lens.
It’s apparently made from polystyrene and put there by a climate group (probably 350 Aotearoa) who also gave out cookies at the train station and are travelling the country in a hybrid for International Climate Day today!
the iceberg is there to raise awareness of global warming done by various wellingtonians who are keen for us to start taking some action on global warming.
i think its a great idea myself and a great way to catch peoples attention.

If the old metaphor ‘tip of the iceberg’ is even partially true the harbor would have to be deeper than it appears there.
