…and incumbent Alcatel-Lucent will build it. Nice scoop Juha. You have to wonder at the price Telecom can get when faced with such an incumbent supplier.

It’s a dhame Telecom are not changing their new international roaming prices just yet – I guess subscribers will keep either paying too much or switching to local (GSM) prepay phones.

  1. June should see new (and better) roaming pricing from Telecom, I believe… not sure if Vodafone will be able to match them, at least straight away.

  2. Its actually cheaper to roam on a Vodafone NZ Prepay sim rather than an On Account one in quite a few countries (Fiji for example, as I went in April and the bill wasn’t nice!)
